Vehicle Computational UNIT testing

In my role, I focused on the system and software validation of the Body Controller and Gateway Module Vehicle Computational Unit (VCU) for automakers. This involved analyzing customer and system requirements, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility by addressing any ambiguities. I designed and developed test cases based on system and customer requirements, executed automated test cases using Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and VECTOR CANoe simulation setups, and verified compliance with specified requirements.

I also analyzed software issues, reported defects to the development team, and delivered detailed validation reports to customers. Additionally, I set up and maintained test equipment, ensured traceability between requirements and test cases, and reported identified risks within the development project. My responsibilities included keeping test documentation up to date per defined processes, providing technical support to the development team regarding software defects, and analyzing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) issues while developing corresponding test cases when issues were confirmed.
