Stooty is a social app designed to connect creatives for project collaboration, studio and space sharing, and self-promotion. With a target audience of creatives and music enthusiasts, the platform’s goal is to create a seamless experience for users to find spaces, collaborate with other creatives, and manage bookings. This MVP version focused on designing an intuitive user interface that would streamline these interactions and allow users to test core features before a full-scale launch.

User-Centric Onboarding: Introduce new users to the app with an easy-to-follow setup for space listing and profile creation.

Studio & Space Listings: Allow users to browse available studios or spaces, view booking details, and understand services offered.

Streamlined Booking Process: Design a simple and secure booking process for reserving creative spaces and services.

Payments Integration: Ensure a smooth payment flow for users providing and booking spaces.

Research and User Persona Development: Based on the audience (creatives and music lovers), personas were developed to understand the user journey and interactions expected in the app. Key pain points were identified, such as complex booking flows and limited space sharing options on existing platforms.

Wireframes and Prototyping: Low-fidelity wireframes were created to establish core screens like onboarding, profile setup, studio listing, booking details, and the booking confirmation page. These were then refined into high-fidelity prototypes to capture the look and feel expected in a professional creative space-sharing app.

User Interface Design: Following a dark-themed aesthetic with vibrant accent colors, the UI was tailored to grab attention and create an immersive experience for creatives. The design balanced aesthetics with functionality, making sure information was accessible and actions were straightforward.

User Testing and Feedback: The MVP was tested with a select group of creatives to gather feedback on ease of use, flow, and clarity. Adjustments were made to improve the onboarding process, simplify booking steps, and enhance visibility for key actions.

Onboarding Flow: Users can quickly set up profiles and define what services they are offering, whether it's studio rental, skill-sharing, or space-sharing.

Service Listing and Booking Details: A detailed profile view lets users see location information, services offered, and rates, complete with user reviews to build trust.

Profile and Payment Integration: Profile previews allow users to see their listings as others would. A "Get Paid" button is prominently displayed for providers, ensuring a clear flow from service listing to payment.

Enhanced User Reviews and Feedback: Ratings and reviews help users make informed decisions, adding credibility and a community-driven aspect to the app.

High-Fidelity Prototypes: Fully interactive mockups of all core screens for use in user testing and demonstration.

Design System: A guide with components, color schemes, typography, and UI elements, ensuring consistency for future app development.

User Flow Documentation: Mapped-out user journeys for onboarding, booking, and payments, providing a clear guide for developers and stakeholders.

Outcome and Next Steps The MVP version of Stooty successfully established the core functionality needed for user testing and validation. Initial feedback indicated a positive response to the app’s aesthetic and usability, especially in the booking process. Future improvements include expanding filtering options, adding more community features, and refining the payment experience.
