The Finger: 3D Product Reveal

The Finger is a cheeky 3D product reveal created as a personal experiment, inspired by the clean, high-impact style of modern 3D motion design. Designed for short-form content on social platforms, the project explores real-time workflows and cinematic product staging. The entire scene was assembled and animated in Unreal Engine 5, utilizing Lumen for dynamic global illumination and reflections, with sequencer-driven camera animations to create smooth, intentional motion. Materials were manually tuned to evoke a toy-like, satiny plastic aesthetic with subtle surface imperfections. Post-production was done in DaVinci Resolve, including color correction, audio design, subtitle timing, and export optimization for vertical video formats. This piece was a fast, fun way to test creative direction, technical pacing, and visual tone—all in under 30 seconds.
