Fintech UX: Transaction Feedback System | Lottie/JSON

Fintech UX: Transaction Feedback System A UI animation system for a fintech payment gateway — micro-interactions built with Lottie/JSON (via After Effects + Bodymovin) covering three critical transaction states: Loading, Success, and Error. The Challenge In financial interfaces, waiting for a transaction can cause user anxiety. "Did the money go through? Did it fail?". The goal of this UI Kit was to create clear, reassuring feedback loops for a payment gateway. The motion needed to be friendly, lightweight, and informative.

The Solution I designed a set of state-based micro-interactions focusing on the three pillars of transaction UX:

   1. Expectation (Processing): Using a recognizable metaphor (the wallet) to show activity without boring the user.   2. Confirmation (Success): A "dopamine hit" animation to signal safety and completion.   3. Alert (Error): A clear but non-aggressive shake effect to prompt user correction.
