Drop Bear Poster Design

Drop Bear is a thriller film produced by students from the University of South Australia (UniSA).

The film features an Australian folklore used to scare tourists, the drop bears. Drop bears are described as predatory koalas that hunt by ambushing ground dwelling animals from above and pounce on top of the unsuspecting victim.

The design is inspired by the clawing the drop bears do in order to attack their prey. To complement the illustration is a stylized serif type to keep the ominous theme of the poster which is even more highlighted by the color palette.
