Most people think grading is about making things “look cinematic”.
It’s not.
It’s about controlling emotion, depth, and attention — and sound is what silently sells the realism.
The “before” feels flat and disconnected.
The “after” feels lived-in, grounded, and emotionally aligned with the story.
This film was where I stopped editing for aesthetics
and started editing for impact.
