A site monitoring airport travel data in real-time for a climate action group.
Eyes On Bristol Airport are a group that monitor Bristol Airport in relation to its strict planning requirements on flight numbers. The group wanted to visualise this data and present it to an audience concerned about climate change and air travel's contribution to this. The site needed to be engaging and inspire action in the audience and resist appearing dry or uninspiring.
The site is designed and coded to have as low a carbon impact as was possible within the modest funding grant the group received for the site.
