.ai: In-progress printed AI project

An upcoming printed AI series, heading to galleries around New England in June 2023.



This project required a selection of my own images as source material, my own color palette, and a very specific seed for the initial noise source. They also required going back to v3, to get the right amount of low-fidelity quality in shading and blending, some analog-intelligence (🤓) editing in Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, as well as some external ai tools to then take that lower quality imagery and bring it up to 2k, which added additional noise.



These will be printed on large format art printers, using Pro-premium matte rolls in 16:10 ratio @ 44" tall.
