CriminalModz Website Redesign

CriminalModz (formerly CriminalPlus) is an online marketplace specialising in digital gaming services and accounts. They needed a redesigned, modern, and responsive website that matched the new brand direction while being developed efficiently using a no-code approach with Elementor.

The hero section required a Stone Mountain peak background design that also needed to blend seamlessly with the following sections.

Some design components created in Figma were not directly implementable in Elementor, which required custom CSS workarounds to achieve pixel-perfect results.

Disclaimer: I was not the designer. My role was translating the ready Figma designs into a live no-code website using Elementor, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.

Studied the full Figma layout to plan the Elementor structure and select the right widgets.

Collaborated directly with the designer to align expectations and ensure design fidelity.

Identified areas requiring custom CSS adjustments early, helping estimate timelines and manage client expectations.

Broke down the Figma pages into structured Elementor templates.

Defined reusable sections and components to keep development consistent and efficient.

Organised the content flow in a way that matched the design intent but worked within Elementor’s flexibility.

Built a design system inside Elementor, mapping typography, colors, and spacing from the Figma design.

Collected all design tokens/styles from Figma and translated them into a custom Elementor style guide.

Balanced Elementor’s native tools with lightweight CSS tweaks for sections that required precision.

Maintained close communication with the designer through WhatsApp and Chrome Meeting for fast feedback loops.

Iterated on sections to refine both visual fidelity and performance.

Fully functional Elementor website that mirrors the provided Figma design.

Custom CSS applied for complex design elements (hero background, blended sections, unique styling).

Implemented a reusable Elementor design system for future scalability.

CriminalModz successfully launched its redesigned website with modern visuals and a smooth user experience.

The final site maintained design fidelity to the original Figma concept while remaining scalable and editable in Elementor.
