Personal Illustration Series
This is a personal illustration series I made and posted on my Instagram every Friday in July to support the #PlasticFreeJuly campaign, an annual global movement aimed at reducing our use of single-use plastics in daily life.
This series has 5 illustrations to post each week, highlighting different single-use plastic items that we often mindlessly use in our everyday lives.
From plastic bag for daily shopping, plastic bottle, plastic straw, single-use cup, and single-use food packaging, all become part of the illustration with one repeated text below it:
"Did you know there are cooler things than ..?"
And the answers are in the caption of each posts. Provided alternative choices written with same repeated phrase:
"Maybe try to using/bringing ... next time?"
Hopefully, this helps everyone get more into the campaign, easier to understand the messages, and know what to do next by realizing a lot of cooler options than relying on single-use plastics in our daily lives.
