Designing a Realistic Skateboard in Blender

Skateboarding has always been a symbol of creativity and self-expression, both in its physical form and the designs that decorate it. With this in mind, I set out to model a skateboard in Blender, aiming for a balance between realism and artistic customization. Main goal was to create a skateboard that not only captured the essential structure but also featured a unique visual touch through texturing and materials.

Using Blender, I employed basic shape modeling, subdivision modifiers, and extrusion techniques to refine the mesh and add key features. The first focus was shaping the deck, ensuring a smooth curvature and realistic proportions.

I then worked on the trucks and wheels, carefully positioning them to align with real-world skateboard mechanics. The wheels were textured with a mixture of orange and white to give them a vibrant but balanced appearance.

For the underside of the skateboard, I used a noise texture combined with a black color to give it a slightly rugged effect. I also added a stripe of white and orange along the side body to enhance the overall aesthetics.
