Salthaus Modern Salt Rooms was a new business on the upper east side of Manhattan, focused on creating a family-friendly wellness oasis uptown. Whether it's for a break from a busy day, a space to meditate, treat a skin condition or inflammatory illness, Salthaus was a reliable and welcoming space.

Being a new business in NYC, the small company needed more content to continue marketing their business. They had been reusing old images from their initial launch for months and needed an update to attract both new and existing clients. The prior images were brand appropriate, however did not showcase the space, amenities and clients.

I coordinated a two hour photo shoot to capture images in the salt rooms to help their audience envision the space and relaxation that comes from visiting Salthaus. I used my DSLR camera, along with my own 3 point lighting equipment and directed the models (who were employees at the salt spa). To edit the images, I used Adobe Lightroom.

Once delivering the images, the owners were able to utilize them in multiple ways such as their newsletters, Instagram profile, and a feature on Pulsd (NYC events and promotions app).
