I edited website content for a company in Brazil

A company in Brazil wants to expand into the US, and the owner asked me to edit his website content. He sells frozen meat products, but was using the label "frozen animal protein." I shared my concern that by using this label, it sounded like he was talking about some kind of synthetic product. I said it would lead to misconceptions about his product offering. To fully appreciate the essence of Bragi Trade, it is important to understand the journey of the founder, Julio Pires.  He began selling food baskets at age 19, and over thirty years progressed to a thriving careeer in food trading worldwide. He enjoyed the travels, challenges and glamourous lifestyle of the international trading markets. Yet something was not right - he didn't feel satisfied.

He didn’t understand what was happening until he looked north, toward the United States of America. He decided to start a business in the U.S., and realized this was the undertaking which would challenge him. To prosper in the most competitive and developed country in the world was - the missing piece in his career.

Julio Pires, founder of Bragi Trade, is no stranger to hard work. He began working at a very young age in Sao Paulo – Brazil, starting his first business when he was 19 years old, selling food baskets. He developed strong relationships with suppliers, which encouraged him to take his business to another level.

Dealing with co-workers and many partners during his first professional experiences, Julio learned the core values that blended well with his personality: Commitment and Partnership.

He began trading internationally, and traveled the world selling dry food and meat products. In 25 years he had built a prosperous company, by taking a different approach - to emphasize his core values. Now he has decided to expand into the U.S. This represents a huge challenge, and there is no better fuel to motivate him than that.
