Compass is a fintech SaaS that provides precise calculations of the Stamp Duty Land Tax percentages required to be paid when purchasing or transferring residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties in the United Kingdom. It is designed for homebuyers, commercial investors and conveyancers.

For the first two years since the launch of their app, Compass struggled to convey its messaging, expand its user base, and generate additional leads beyond those already circulating within a narrow group of law firms dealing with SDLT issues. The company also needed to extend their reach directly to property buyers in order to educate and establish a wider consumer group that would consequently pressure their own conveyancers to use the Compass service app.

DDHD Studio was tasked to imagine and create the new brand and website design, as well as to support the web development and maintain further production of visual assets required throughout the year’s plan.
