While the Vanilla Pod restaurant had an existing website, it didn't accurately reflect it's modern, high standard of dining. As this project was underway just after the Covid-19 pandemic, the website also needed a robust online menu to replace the paper menus used previously.

None of the previous website was used in this redesign. Instead, I went back to the basics and wrote brand new copy for the entire website. This meant writing new pages detailing the story of the restaurant and it's owners, but also required a significant amount of work inputting the extensive wine list that the restaurant is renowned for.

The project was a huge success, with the Vanilla Pod completely transitioning to using the online menus which was ideal through the pandemic, allowing customers to either use the provided iPads on each table, or scan a QR code on the table itself with their own mobile devices.
