I have created these illustrations as a personal project for the article in Standart magazine about ways to measure coffee cup quality and extract the best taste possible from the beans. For me coffee drinking and tasting are about the ritual, concentrating on the feelings, the subtlety of every taste note.Therefore I have decided that the main word of this project is sensuality. I wanted to convey this through the illustrations and create the experience of feeling the taste and story of coffee through the images.

For this project I have created 50 sketches and ideas and selected the final 5, which reflected what I wanted to tell the viewer best.

After sketches were finalised and approved I have started working on final illustrations. I have tried different color palettes and textures, refining the styling for the series step by step before reaching the final results.
