YES Theatre Website Rebrand

YES Theatre is a non-profit organization and a cultural cornerstone for Northern Ontario. They have been leaders in developing and providing opportunity for emerging artists and revitalizing theatre.

When YES Theatre reached out about helping them out on a website redesign I was so excited. YES Theatre has been a wonderful supporter of the design community and I’ve been a patron of theirs for a few years. Here you’ll see a detailed look at the original website design that housed YES Theatre’s online presence until 2021. 

The theatre company wanted something that would be easier to manage and something that showed the true arch of talent that the amateur theatre company possessed. Nearly a decade old, YES Theatre has been putting on productions from large theatres to vacant parking lots and they had a-lot to show for it! But they're website wasn't showing the people behind the posters and the talent hidden within, so it was time for a refresh. 

The proposal included an expansion of their website and a new look and feel to their existing pages like the About Us page, Past Productions, and Onstage section and a new blog featuring behind the scenes videos and articles all about the theatre.
