Developers within CircleCI needed a site to showcase open source projects as part of a community outreach initiative. My goal was to design a look and feel that was distinct from CircleCI branding, casual, and even adorable.

After stakeholders chose a direction and delivered feedback, I developed a collection of chemistry-themed illustrations as well as a single background image that could be masked and re-used for multiple project cards.

Finally, I designed a new component for the most important part of the two-page site: the sign up. I used the pill shaped motif that I designed for the suite of project tags and CTAs and extended it to create a single field form.
