"Visible - Five Ways" is a mobile application I led the development of, aimed at fostering mental well-being among children aged 8-11. Conceived in collaboration with Health Board Wales and Without Servers, this application is designed around the Welsh Government's innovative five ways of well-being framework.

The app features an interactive and user-friendly interface built using React Native and TypeScript. It provides children with personalized activities recommended by an algorithm I developed. These activities are intended to help young users align with the five ways of well-being framework, thereby promoting their mental health.

One of the key features of the app includes a mood-tracking system. This feature allows children to log their emotions, helping them recognize their feelings and understand the importance of mental health. There's also a goal-setting feature that encourages children to set and work towards achieving their personal goals, enhancing their sense of accomplishment.

Another exciting feature is the avatar customization option. This feature not only adds a fun element but also encourages children to express their creativity and individuality. The app is adaptive to different screens, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience across various devices.

The app is managed via a dashboard I developed using Django and Django Rest Framework. This dashboard allows administrators to easily update the content within the application, ensuring the app remains relevant and engaging for its young users.

"Visible - Five Ways" has been well-received by the client and users, and its successful trial in different schools throughout Wales is a testament to its usefulness and appeal. The project underscores my capabilities as a project lead, from conceptualization to development and successful launch, and illustrates my commitment to creating meaningful and impactful digital solutions.
