My process:

Present and align on brand strategy guidelines with the founders

Present 2 strong moodboards

Create a type scale

Wireframe 2-3 strong layouts suitable for a media site in greyscale

Develop color palette options and test for accessibility

Mock up core web designs in Figma for homepage, Story archive pages, and Story single pages

Code 20+ pages in Wordpress using PHP, CSS, and HTML

Set up hosting, staging, and GitHub

Push the site live, monitor analytics, and make adjustments

Create documentation to hand off the Wordpress to non-developers
