Dra. Hanoi: Menstrual Dysphoria Awareness Reel

A social media reel created for Dra. Hanoi, a real client, on the topic of menstrual dysphoria. The goal was to produce a short, visually striking piece that uses metaphor to connect with women experiencing symptoms, briefly explain the condition, and drive them toward a professional consultation.

This is a client project. I handled creative direction, AI generation, music, and editing. Dra. Hanoi provided medical guidance and reviewed the final cut.

The reel is built around a sea-tiger-peace metaphor: turbulent ocean imagery represents the emotional overwhelm of dysphoria, a tiger embodies the intensity of symptoms, and a calm closing sequence signals the possibility of relief through professional support. The metaphor was my initial concept, refined in collaboration with Dra. Hanoi to ensure medical accuracy.

Concept and collaboration. Defined the visual metaphor and core message together with the client. Established the call to action: schedule a consultation.

Visual prompting. Used photos of Dra. Hanoi as reference to guide AI prompt creation. Generated video sequences with Hailuo AI and Kling AI based on detailed prompts reflecting the sea-tiger-peace concept.

Music. Original generative soundtrack composed with Suno AI to match the emotional arc of the piece.

Editing. Sequenced all AI-generated assets in CapCut. Added text overlays clarifying the metaphor, effects, the original music, and a closing call to action.

Review and delivery. Dra. Hanoi reviewed the draft, we incorporated feedback together, and finalized the MP4 for social media.
