3D Contract with Third-Party Xbox Controller Company

Project Overview: A third-party Xbox controller company contracted me to create high-quality 3D visuals for their standard controller, the goal was to showcase two different material options (e.g., matte plastic and two other clear-tinted plastics) and produce stunning visuals for marketing purposes, emphasizing the controller’s design, ergonomics, and material quality.

Scope of Work:

3D Rendering:

Created an accurate and detailed 3D model of the standard Xbox controller, capturing every curve, button, and texture.

Adapted the model to visualize two distinct material finishes, ensuring both looked realistic and appealing.

Studio Views and Beauty Shots:

Produced studio-quality renders that highlight the controller’s design and functionality in a clean, professional setting.

Delivered extreme beauty shots and hero shots to emphasize key features like the grip, button layout, and material textures.

Rendering, Texturing, and Lighting:

Applied lifelike textures to both material options, ensuring the matte plastic and rubberized control authentic and tactile.

Used dynamic lighting setups to enhance the controller’s contours and material details, creating visually striking renders.

Marketing-Ready Assets:

Provided versatile visuals for use in digital campaigns, product packaging, and e-commerce platforms.

Ensured the renders aligned with the brand’s identity and marketing goals.
