I contributed to develop Shoclef website. I used several libraries such as Apollo GraphQL client, Redux. Backend was developed by GraphQL. Typescript was used for both of Front-end and Back-end. The database was MongoDB.
- React.js
- Jest testing framework
- Unit tests
- Redux
Situation: During the development of the Shoclef project, we encountered a significant challenge when implementing a complex live streaming feature. The feature required seamless integration of real-time video streaming with the shopping interface, which demanded precise synchronization and efficient data handling.
Task: My task was to lead the development efforts for this critical feature and ensure it met the high standards set by the project requirements. This included coordinating with the backend team to establish a robust data flow, optimizing UI elements for real-time updates, and implementing thorough testing procedures.
Action: To address this challenge, I first conducted a thorough analysis of the technical requirements and potential roadblocks. I collaborated closely with the backend team to establish a streamlined GraphQL API that could handle the demands of live streaming. Additionally, I leveraged my proficiency in React.js and Redux to design a responsive and intuitive user interface that seamlessly integrated the live streaming functionality.
