I critiqued the first two chapters of a high fantasy novel, giving feedback on the setup of the world and the characters among other things. When the author revised the two chapters, they came back to me for more feedback, and I was able to see the great progress they'd made and also give them a few smaller critiques to make the introduction to their story even better.
