An interactive 3D web experience: a black monolith on a dead, purple planet that reacts to everything you do.
I made it to show my design team at The Small Square what's possible when designers direct AI instead of waiting on a developer. The whole piece was designed without Figma, in about 70 prompts over a few hours with Claude, and it runs live in the browser.
What I did
• Creative and art direction: the world, the mood, the light
• Interaction design: gravity, cursor play, the dive into the crack
• Sound direction: a score, alien calls and landing thuds, all generated live in code
• Built and shipped with Claude, then tuned to run smoothly on everyday laptops
What you can do in it
• Hover the monolith and gravity switches off
• Push the floating rocks around with your cursor
• Click to hold gravity, click again to drop everything
• Watch the light in the cracks follow your cursor
• Scroll into a crack until you see the crystals in the stone
Tools: Claude, three.js, GLSL shaders, Blender, Web Audio, Vercel
