In connection with the renovation of the main entrance during 2011–2012, new hardware was purchased for the cash register system. Physical elements such as turnstiles ("entrance gate" to let in one person at a time), camera, barcode reader, customer display, and magnetic card reader were integrated to work together with the software and HP AP 5000. When "Kaninlandet" was inaugurated in 2013, changes were made so that the cash register system also works with its successor HP RP7 7800.
