Auditorium for the Impaired

This recent conceptual design for an auditorium at a local High School is currently being used by the Owner to garner funding for the project. They are a private High School that has a progressive teaching sense and wants to construct a new auditorium/theater that would be gearing to those that are physically impaired. Either with eyesight, hearing, or physical mobility impairments. State of the art technology would be implemented into the design to provide this type of assistance. Outside of providing unique experiences for those that typically are unable to attend plays/performance/etc. this theater will emulate those type of facilities that usually have much large budgets. The use of wood and various other acoustical materials, a warm and inviting space will draw various patrons. Most of these proceeds will flow back into the community to help those in need with other experiences that they will not get anywhere else. This design is sought to be a precursor to more designs within the area to help those in need. This facility will be the basis-of-design for those buildings in the future.
