For this conference project, I created a large scale motion graphics experience designed across 8 separate LED screens throughout the event space.
This wasn't a standard single canvas video. Each screen had its own dimensions, placement, and viewing angle, with some displays featuring curved surfaces. Every screen needed to be designed and rendered individually while still feeling like part of one continuous visual experience.
The Challenge
The main challenge was creating content that could move naturally across multiple physical displays.
Instead of treating the 8 screens as independent outputs, I designed sequences where animations could begin on the first screen, travel through the venue, and finish on the final screen.
This required careful planning around:
8 individually edited and rendered screen outputs
Different screen dimensions and aspect ratios
Curved LED displays and unconventional screen geometry
Precise timing and synchronization between screens
Motion continuity across separate physical displays
Creating transitions that visually traveled from one screen to another
Testing the complete composition as one merged canvas before final delivery
The Process
I first approached the entire installation as one large visual canvas to establish the overall composition, pacing, and motion direction.
From there, the content was adapted and separated for each individual display while maintaining synchronization across all 8 screens.
Particular attention was given to animations that crossed screen boundaries. Elements could enter from one display, continue through several screens, and resolve on another part of the installation, creating the feeling that the entire venue was one connected digital environment.
For curved screens, compositions and motion had to be adjusted specifically for the physical shape of the display so that the visuals remained natural when viewed in the actual event space.
Final Result
The final delivery consisted of 8 synchronized video outputs, each optimized for its corresponding screen and combined into one cohesive conference experience.
The project brought together video editing, motion design, large format content production, multi screen synchronization, and technical delivery to transform a complex LED installation into a unified visual system.
