The Client

Company Type: Video Production Studio.
Context: After establishing a strong track record of high-quality work globally, the studio recently relocated its headquarters to Barcelona, Spain.
Target Market: Local (Barcelona), European, and worldwide commercial clients looking for premium video content.

The Challenge

Moving to Europe marked a new chapter for the business, requiring a complete strategic reset. The client possessed an extensive portfolio of high-end footage and massive operational capability, but faced a distinct positioning problem:
Market Polarization: The video production industry is largely split between two extremes: ultra-high-budget, inaccessible conceptual agencies, or cheap, low-tier, high-volume operations.
The Middle-Niche Dilemma: The client wanted to occupy the underserved middle niche: delivering elite, top-tier production quality while maintaining highly practical, scalable systems that keep budgets accessible for a wider range of clients.
The Goal: Restructure their diverse services, identify their unique competitive advantage, and design a web experience that communicated this "best of both worlds" value proposition to a global audience.

The Process

The project required a deep dive into strategy before any visual execution could begin:
Discovery & Deep Listening: I began by thoroughly auditing the client's existing capabilities, identifying their core audience, and pinpointing their true differentiator: their highly efficient business infrastructure, which allows them to scale production down in cost without scaling down in quality.
Information Architecture: I structured their vast array of services and extensive video archive into a cohesive, logical flow that clearly communicates their unique market positioning.
Translating Strategy into Visuals: The core design challenge was balancing high-concept creativity with approachable business efficiency. I chose a Swiss/International Typographic Style as the foundation. This aesthetic borrowed the minimalist elegance, strict grids, and bold typography of elite design houses, but utilized friendly, clear compositions to ensure the brand remained accessible, open, and inviting.

The Result

The final Framer website successfully translates a complex business model into a striking, high-converting digital presence.
Distinct Brand Language: By adopting a modernized Swiss style, the website immediately stands out from standard production portfolios. It looks premium, intentional, and highly creative.
High Concept Meets High Accessibility: The clean grids and minimalist layouts ensure that while the aesthetic feels high-end, the messaging remains incredibly easy to digest, clear, and approachable.
Ready for Global Growth: The structured presentation of their services and portfolio establishes immediate trust, effectively positioning the studio as the go-to European hub for brands demanding top-tier video content without the bloated agency price tag.
