GlobaliD Trustees

With Trustees we set out to build a simple, easy-to-use, and peer-to-peer Account Recovery for the GlobaliD Wallet utilizing the latest in encryption and cryptology.

A GlobaliD Wallet can contain sensitive Identification Documents, Access Passes, Healthcare Information, as well as Digital Assets which makes security around Account Recovery absolutely critical.

Typical account recovery methods in production today fall short in terms of both security and usability. Centralized recovery systems, which are prevalent in most products today, require that a singular third party have complete access to all of your sensitive information and leaves your assets at risk of one bad actor. On the other extreme, private keys keep access within your control, but can be easily lost or stolen, resulting in the permanent loss of the contents of a wallet.
