Over the course of 3 quarters, I led the successful migration of Al Jazeera's internal IT division from PagerDuty to Atlassian's Opsgenie. The project was kicked off by me conducting a market assessment of available viable alternative solutions. POCs were conducted on 4 different solutions based on requirements provided by the users. Once the replacement was selected, an MVP was built to confirm the viability. Migration of resources was automated with in-house developed solutions. The migration included the following:

This initiative resulted in annual cost savings of 50,000+ USD. During this migration, visibility over services' health was maintained and no incidents were dropped. Following the migration, multiple trainings were also conducted by me to ensure the engineers did not encounter any issues.
