We designed and developed a digital platform that helps homeowners, architects, and construction professionals understand the impact of insulation on a building's energy performance. Created in collaboration with experts in construction physics, civil architects, and software engineers, the application transforms highly complex calculations into a simple and intuitive user experience.

The calculator evaluates a wide range of parameters, including the property's geographic location, exposure to wind and sunlight, building geometry, construction materials, heating systems, and insulation characteristics. Based on this data, the platform generates detailed simulations and visualizes temperature differences throughout the building, clearly demonstrating how insulation affects comfort, energy consumption, and efficiency. One of the main design challenges was translating extensive engineering data into a user-friendly workflow accessible to non-experts. Through a streamlined multi-step process, intuitive interfaces, and clear visualizations, users can quickly understand the benefits of insulation without needing specialized technical knowledge.

The result is a powerful yet approachable digital tool that bridges the gap between advanced building science and everyday decision-making, helping users make more informed choices about energy efficiency and home performance.
