HOME describes the visual relationship of identity that came out of a place of living. See the mimicry of shape and structure shared between the insect and her environment in the design.

Tacua Speciosa is part of a small series that analyzes the strength of insect kingdoms. The design was inspired by the colorful markings of the Tacua Speciosa, a cicada species found in Southeast Asia. I drew inspiration for patterning the design from French techniques and the Suzan designs.
