“ Did you meet someone recently for the first time and got nervous or made them feel awkward unintentionally?
Not your fault mate you’re just not working on your confidence (probably giving excuses like ” i’m an introvert” or “i’m shy”) “
"Let's face it, confidence doesn't come easy for everyone. Some people seem to just have it, right? But here's the truth: confidence is a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned. In this video, I'm sharing some powerful tips to help you build unshakeable confidence for interviews, dates, meetings – you name it!"
We've all heard the word 'confidence,' right? But what it actually means can be tricky. What one person sees as confident, another might see as overbearing or even insecure. So, how do you strike that perfect balance? How do you feel confident without coming across as a clown or, even worse, awkward, especially in those crucial first meetings? Don't worry, I've got you covered. Today, I'm going to walk you through 3 simple steps to help you project genuine confidence, without going overboard."
Tip no.1 :- Practice Confident Body Language:
When we talk about confidence, body language is key. It's more than just standing or sitting correctly; it's about eye contact, greetings, and every gesture you make. For example, even offering something to someone can come across as forced if you don't do it naturally, which can easily create a misunderstanding, especially in a first meeting. So, here are some tips to help you improve your body language and project genuine confidence.Okay, so, first time meeting someone? You want to look like you're not nervous, right? Stand up straight, look at them when you talk. Shake their :hand nicely and smile. When you're talking, don't cross your arms or play with things. Use your hands a bit when you talk, but not too much. If they move a little, you can move a little too. When you give them something, do it nicely. When you leave, smile and shake their hand again, and walk away like you're cool. That's it!"
Tip no.2:- Small Wins & Positive Self-Talk:
Being confident isn’t just about looking confident infront of others but also having the feel or sense of being confident within yourself also. Getting confident isn't like flipping a switch. It's more like climbing stairs, one step at a time. Start with tiny goals, stuff you know you can do, and give yourself a high-five when you nail them. That shows you you're not as useless as your brain sometimes says. And about that brain? It can be a real jerk, right? Telling you you suck. Tell it to shut up! Start talking to yourself like you'd talk to a friend. Say nice things, like, 'You got this!' or 'You're doing okay.' Think of it as being kind to yourself, celebrating the little wins, and telling that mean voice to take a hike. That's how you get real confidence, bit by bit."
Tip No.3:- Focus on What You Can Control:
Stop worrying about things that are beyond your control. Focus on what you can influence. You can't control how others perceive you, so simply be genuine. Try to be yourself. Don't fixate on outcomes; find joy in the process, because that's where your power lies. Focus on the things you can control, and you will find a greater sense of peace.
Finally, challenge yourself! Step outside your comfort zone. That's where the magic happens. The more you push yourself, the more you'll realize you're capable of.It's a process, not a quick fix. Give yourself grace, stick with the practices, and your confidence will naturally flourish.
