MacOS style portfolio I did for a client

Project Overview

We designed and developed a distinctive portfolio website that reimagines the classic macOS desktop experience for the web. This approach transformed how our client showcases their diverse creative work across multiple disciplines.

The Challenge

Our client, a multidisciplinary creative professional, struggled to present their varied portfolio work in a way that felt cohesive yet allowed each project category to stand independently. Traditional portfolio layouts felt generic and failed to reflect their appreciation for thoughtful interface design and user experience.

The Solution

We created an interactive macOS-inspired interface featuring:
Desktop-style icon grid with custom project category icons
Familiar macOS design language including glassmorphic effects and authentic system aesthetics
Intuitive folder-based navigation allowing visitors to explore work at their own pace
Functional dock with quick access to key sections and contact information
Responsive design that maintains the desktop metaphor across all devices
The interface feels immediately familiar to users while providing a memorable and engaging way to browse portfolio work.

Results

The innovative approach delivered exceptional outcomes:
127% increase in portfolio exploration time (from 2:10 to 4:56)
73% increase in project views per session (from 3.8 to 6.6 projects)
