Shot on location in Northern Nigeria for Laz under Black Diamond Collective. This was a deliberate choice: the region's landscape gave the video a visual identity you can't replicate on a set in Lagos.

The track has a texture to it, and the visual needed to match. Northern Nigeria offered the right palette: open space, natural light, and an environment that felt connected to the music rather than layered on top of it.

I managed the full production from pre-production through delivery. That included location scouting in Northern Nigeria, assembling a crew that could operate in a region with different logistical demands, coordinating travel and on-ground production, and overseeing post-production.

Shooting outside Lagos adds complexity. Different infrastructure, different crew networks, different pace. The job was to build a production system that worked in that environment while maintaining the creative standard. Every location was found, not built, because the story was already there.
