Klára & Miroslav — A Personal Wedding Website Designed in Framer

Project Overview

Klára & Miroslav is a wedding website designed in Framer to bring a couple’s special day to life through a warm, elegant and personal digital experience.
The goal was to create more than a traditional wedding invitation. I wanted to build a space where guests could discover all the important details, get a feel for the celebration, and find everything they needed before the big day — all in one place.
The design combines soft colours, elegant typography, personal photographs and thoughtful details to create an experience that feels intimate, romantic and effortless.

The Challenge

Wedding websites need to feel personal while still being practical. Guests should be able to find the venue, understand the schedule, check the dress code and get answers to common questions without having to contact the couple for every detail.
The challenge was to bring all this information together without making the website feel crowded or overly formal.

Design Approach

I took a minimalist, editorial approach, using generous whitespace, soft sage tones and refined serif typography to establish a calm, romantic atmosphere.
The homepage opens with a personal wedding invitation, followed by a collection of photographs that gives guests a glimpse into the couple’s story. From there, the page flows naturally into the venue details, dress code, gift information, wedding schedule and FAQ section.
Every section was designed to feel like part of the same experience rather than a collection of separate blocks.

Key Features

Personalised Wedding Invitation A welcoming introduction featuring the couple’s names, wedding date and a convenient calendar action so guests can save the occasion.
Venue & Location Details A dedicated section combining venue photography, location information and an embedded map to make finding the celebration straightforward.
Dress Code Guide A visual presentation of the expected attire, helping guests understand the desired style while keeping the information elegant and easy to follow.
Wedding Schedule A clear timeline of the day’s activities, from guest arrival and the ceremony to the evening celebration, so everyone knows what to expect.
Interactive FAQ Section An organised question-and-answer section covering practical details such as dietary preferences, accommodation, transport and other guest concerns.
Gift Information A thoughtfully designed section communicating the couple’s wishes around gifts in a way that feels warm and considerate.

Visual Direction

The visual identity is built around a soft, nature-inspired palette of pale sage, muted green and warm off-white. These colours complement the wedding’s romantic atmosphere without distracting from the content.
Elegant serif headings create a timeless feel, while smaller, understated text keeps practical information readable. Botanical illustrations, subtle image treatments and carefully spaced sections add personality without overwhelming the layout.
The overall direction balances romance, simplicity and functionality.

Built in Framer

Framer made it possible to bring the design together as a polished, responsive web experience, with carefully structured sections, interactive elements and a consistent visual style.
The focus was on making the website feel just as considered as the wedding itself, while ensuring guests could navigate it comfortably across devices.

The Result

The result is a personal wedding website that combines the feeling of a beautifully designed invitation with the convenience of a practical guest information hub.
Rather than overwhelming visitors with information, the website guides them through the details of the celebration in a natural and thoughtful way. Every element, from the photographs to the schedule and FAQs, contributes to an experience that feels personal to the couple.
The idea was simple: create a digital invitation that guests would enjoy exploring, remember fondly and find genuinely useful.
