Colorful and organic concept for an eco-friendly marketplace.
Task:
1) Design the store logo
2) Develop an online store to sell handmade and eco-friendly products. The clients weren't sure what they wanted, but they were sure they didn't want to follow the style used by all the natural products stores. No pastel colors or super minimalist designs, and of course no perfect stock images.
Concept
We started by creating a hand-drawn feel for their logo using organic elements like leaves and fun abstract figures, all with a mix of natural colors. This gave us a good starting point for the store design.
For the website we went for a friendly design, with playful and colorful illustrations and icons that followed the same line as the logo. Although a lot of colors were used, everything ended up looking clean and not at all like a typical natural products store.
