Brew Haven, a cozy coffee shop dedicated to providing a welcoming space for its customers, approached me to redesign their logo. Their brand emphasizes quality, comfort, and community, but their existing logo lacked distinction and memorability, failing to capture the essence of their atmosphere. The goal was to create a logo that not only reflected their values but also stood out visually in a competitive market. I began by conducting research into Brew Haven’s target audience and competitive landscape to identify ways to visually differentiate their brand. I then crafted a design that utilized a warm color palette — shades of brown and cream — to reflect the comfort and coziness of enjoying a cup of coffee in their shop. To symbolize community and relaxation, I integrated soft, rounded shapes, balancing them with bold typography that conveyed the shop’s artisanal quality. The design elements work together to create a sense of belonging while still maintaining a professional appearance that aligns with Brew Haven’s high standards of craftsmanship. The final logo successfully captures Brew Haven’s mission to provide a cozy, welcoming environment while being unique enough to stand out among other coffee shops. The design has been well-received by the client and their customers, who now associate the logo with the warmth and comfort of their favorite local coffee spot.
