Space: The Final Frontier
The Earth's sphere has been classified into many subgroups, some of which are the commonly known Atmosphere, which comprises of mainly gases and the most important one to human beings, which they breathe, the Stratosphere, the biosphere and others, but above them all is the boundless, empty and no gravity region known as Space.
As many star trek fans refer to it, ‘Space: The Final Frontier’. This region, up to date, remains a wonder, since its discovery, as it does not obey most of the human proposed laws and principles of the universe, which basically says that humans are only aware of a fraction of the entire universe, and that the universe is so vast and unquantifiable by a simple equation.
Space is dark and cold, so cold that a mass made up of flesh and blood would freeze to death in a matter of seconds (if exposed directly), hence, the need for protective gears that cover the whole body from head to toe.
Space has many features, some of which are beneficial to man, like the celestial bodies, most importantly the sun and the moon, which illuminate the earth, leading to discovery of various sources of energy, and the process by which humans use to measure time and other things, the planets that make up the solar systems, which of only 9 have been discovered so far and are at far distance from each other, and are constantly rotating around the fixed sun, the stars that beautify the sky at night, experienced from Earth, and the wonderful and beautiful Nebulas. Another fascinating property of space is the fact that sound cannot travel out there, and there's no gravity, hence, floatation of any mass in it, the slightest push or pull could send a mass floating to far far distances without stop, unless interrupted by another mass. Due to no gravity, it makes space travel much more difficult, and because of its behavior that's similar to the extremely large water bodies (cold, dark and unsuitable for human survival), similar terminologies are used in describing scenarios and objects in such environment, like movement in both space and ocean is termed ‘sailing’ and others.
Some notable individuals, reported to have experienced this environment include Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first two men to step foot on the moon, Alan Shepherd, the first American to ever touch space and some other Russian figures. They're believed to have done so by a means of a rocket, a mechanical system used for space travelling, carefully engineered and monitored by a group of scientists, technicians/technologists, engineers and mathematicians, abbreviated as STEM, with each letter representing the aforementioned group of people, but not by order of importance.
Space isn't just inhabitable to humans because of it being a no gravity area (disorientation), no echoes and no warmth, there are other things happening up there, that are dangerous and lethal to human beings, like the existence of dangerously gigantic objects and phenomenons like the comets and asteroids, the solar flares which is basically the sun releasing its energy violently in form of waves, and the insinuations that humans are not alone in the universe, bringing up the possibility of an encounter with a specie that is not homogenous to earth.
There have been many movies that showcase the beauty of space, some of which are:
Transformers franchise
Star Trek franchise
Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy
Captain Marvel
Interstellar
Do check them out, as they provide easy visuals that depicts space to the possible bit.
