Meet Frankie, the Mayor of LALATOWN

A whimsical council notice created for one of LALATOWN’s most important residents: Frankie, the Gentle Giant.

Part illustration, part storytelling, and part neighborhood folklore, this piece was inspired by the everyday lives of real cats who gradually became characters in the LALATOWN universe.

When Sarang, Frankie’s long-time one-sided love, wasn’t feeling well, the Mayor officially canceled all council business until further notice.

Because in LALATOWN, matters of the heart always come first.
