Illustrating Women Empowerment and Culture in 2024 Calendar

Eternal Echoes 2024 is a twelve page guide through the containers that shape my life. It is a celebration of culture, a tribute to women, and a challenge to rethink identities. In 2022 I moved to NYC to pursue art and design. I started drawing and painting routinely, not knowing it would lead me to Eternal Echoes 2024. 

Woven into Eternal Echoes are curiosities, dreams and frustrations I face as a 24 year-old Asian American woman. What defines my womanhood? How are my thoughts and assumptions contoured? What are the boundaries of my Asian culture versus my American assimilations? During this journey I have discovered how to both accept and push back against the boundaries in which I am embraced and contained.
