WHEN THEY DANCE — AI Motion & Fluidity Study

"WHEN THEY DANCE" is an experimental AI cinematic piece focused on the elegance of human movement and the fluid nature of dance. This project serves as a technical benchmark for achieving high-quality character consistency and natural motion using advanced generative AI tools. I aimed to capture the rhythm and emotional expression of dance through a surreal, high-fashion lens.

My Role & Process

As the Full-Stack AI Producer, I focused on overcoming the "uncanny valley" of AI-generated movement:

Motion Choreography (AI): Using precise motion-control prompting in Kling and Runway to ensure limbs and body movements remained anatomically plausible and graceful.

Artistic Direction: Developing a visually rich environment with dramatic lighting and textures that complement the energy of the dance.

Advanced Consistency: Implementing frame-to-frame stabilization techniques to maintain character features and clothing details throughout complex movements.

Post-Production Mastering: Editing, color grading, and enhancing the final footage to achieve a 4K "film-like" grain and professional finish.
