Nantes Université - Elections étudiantes

Brief
For the 2025 student elections at Nantes University, everything was provided:
superb illustrations and music composed by 20Syl.
Everything seemed simple and straightforward…
except that the subject matter is quite complex,
and all the information needed to be compiled into less than a minute
to meet social media format requirements.
Concept
We therefore worked with Julie, who managed to make everything concise
but above all very clear, with accessible and dynamic phrasing.
To improve representativeness, we opted for two voice-overs:
one masculine and one feminine. This adds more impact and dynamism,
through a question/answer structure.
Graphic Compositions
Although the illustrations already existed, it was necessary to create
impactful compositions that clarify the message and could be adapted
for both horizontal and vertical formats.
It was also important to dynamize the rhythm with various shot scales,
while prioritizing text: a delicate balance.
The Characters
This year, 2025, was marked for us by the use of Moho for rigging
and character animation. We pushed the boundaries even further,
including frame-by-frame animations for the hand opening sequence,
as well as head presets to quickly switch between characters.
This provided power and a time saving in production.
The Sound Design
Finally, the icing on the cake: the sound design, which reinforces key moments
and creates a campus atmosphere at the end.
Conclusion
We also worked in short scenes, which allowed us to break down the video
into several smaller sequences. At a reasonable cost, Nantes University
was able to communicate about the elections over an extended period of time.
