Project Overview
Kapemai is a startup rooted in the rich tea gardens of Darjeeling, bringing authentic, high-quality tea directly from the source to consumers. The brand reflects purity, origin, and a deep connection to nature.
This project focuses on creating a cohesive brand identity and packaging system that communicates freshness, authenticity, and premium quality while staying visually minimal and contemporary.
The visual identity of Kapemai is built using a combination of Montserrat and Caviar Dreams, creating a balance between modern clarity and subtle elegance.
The color palette is inspired by earthy tones, reflecting: The natural tea gardens of Darjeeling. Organic, grounded, and authentic brand values. Warm, calming hues that resonate with purity and freshness.
This combination of typography and color helps establish a minimal yet premium visual identity, aligning with Kapemai’s philosophy of delivering tea in its most authentic form.
Packaging Illustration
The packaging illustration narrates the journey of tea—from sowing to traditionally hand-plucked leaves collected in woven baskets—capturing the essence of craftsmanship and the origin story rooted in Darjeeling and Assam.
This project reflects my interest in crafting meaningful brand experiences through design, where storytelling meets functionality. From conceptualization to final mockups, Kapemai allowed me to explore how thoughtful design can elevate a product rooted in tradition into a modern, market-ready brand.
