Leveraging Digital Solutions to Increase Accessibility

A lifestyle app that keeps individuals with dementia on track by reminding them of their tasks and location, adding visual cues to everyday tasks,  and providing navigation assistance.

Our UI focuses on visual cues to help the patient navigate their daily tasks with ease. The patient's home screen showcases an update on where they currently are, what tasks they need to do, and whether they have taken their medication. It utilizes location services to prompt the patient through their tasks and reassure them of their whereabouts.
The caretaker has access to the caretaker portal of the app, where they can check on the patient's whereabouts and medication status, and set up reminders or tasks complete with visual cues and custom prompts.
OnTrack's features were carefully considered to relieve the pain points and satisfy the motivations of the user. The UI needed to be accessible, so we included features such as large photos next to contact names, a "take me home" button that can be used any time, and simple navigation cues.
