I snack a lot. so does my girlfriend...
I thought to make an app to help us compete and improve our diet. I intentionally didn’t want calorie counting or guilt trips. Just monsters that get bigger with every snack.
Jokes aside, I missed the fun of building or “vibe coding” as they call it nowadays. It’s been 9 years since I last opened Xcode (I feel ancient!!! ).
Here's what I used:
SwiftUI for the app
Claude code + Context7 MCP to extend Claude with database access and real-time troubleshooting
Whisper Flow for voice prompting
Supabase for the backend
Gemini (Nano Banana) for character design
Midjourney for animations (planning to switch to VEO 3)
GPT-5 / Gemini / Claude for PRDs and brainstorming
