Business Challenge A leading beverage company completed an M&A in Europe, and subsequently embarked on a large-scale digital transformation program to deploy hundreds of IT projects across five core business functions. The goal was to enhance and consolidate business capabilities while achieving economies of scale through unified technology and business strategies. Solution A Transformation Office was established to oversee 300 IT portfolio valued at multi-million euros. This office ensured the application of standardised principles and best practices, offering a transparent view of the project pipeline and maintaining a central record of progress for each initiative. We utilised ServiceNow to track and approve initiatives through a structured stage-gate process, from ideation to BAU. Additionally, we collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve overlaps among work streams, address data governance inconsistencies, and effectively manage risks and dependencies.
Deliverables and Outcomes
Managed a multi-million Euro transformation portfolio, with 85% of projects on track for delivery.
Structured and chaired governance to effectively manage streams and oversee 300+ projects.
Developed over 20 project standards, templates, and processes to ensure consistent delivery.
Liaised and reported to Directors and C-suite regarding CAPEX expenditure and project delivery.
