Yayako is a scalable, multi-vendor e-commerce platform built to streamline the entire retail pipeline. To ensure an optimized, clutter-free user experience, the system was engineered as a dual-app architecture: a dedicated consumer application for seamless shopping and discovery, and a separate, robust merchant application built specifically for sellers to manage business operations.

Platform: Dual iOS & Android Deployment (Customer App + Merchant App)

Product Scope: End-to-end marketplace management, vendor profile provisioning, and automated retail logistics.

Asynchronous Data Flows: Syncing inventory updates from a seller in real time so that buyers don't accidentally purchase out-of-stock items requires a highly responsive backend architecture.

Dual-App Codebase Strategy: Structured the frontend architecture to share core utility modules, styles, and API clients while completely isolating the unique user flows of the buyer and merchant applications.

Real-Time Inventory Synchronization: Implemented robust state management and lightweight database polling/webhooks to ensure that as soon as a merchant adjusts stock levels in the seller app, the change reflects instantly on the customer app.
