Verbatim is a female-founded, minority-owned B2B and D2C marketing agency among the 0.1% in the US in that category with a proven track record of $200M+ in revenue generated for clients, 4,000+ influencer activations and events, and 100+ brands served. Their core services span Influencer Marketing, Speaker Scouting, and Fractional Operations, serving clients like ActiveCampaign, Skillshare, EOS, Evil Controllers, and Kernel Season's.
I was brought into the project by Brand Designer Hanna Wao, who led the brand strategy, visual direction, and positioning design. My responsibility was the website design and Framer development, translating that brand vision into a fully functional, conversion-optimized web presence that could communicate Verbatim's authority and differentiation in a competitive agency market.

Challenge

Verbatim needed a website that could do more than look good, it had to work. As a revenue-first agency that explicitly distances itself from vanity metrics, their site needed to reflect that same philosophy: clear positioning, compelling storytelling, and a seamless path from visitor to prospect.
The challenge was multi-layered. First, the brand had to feel premium and distinctive. Verbatim operates at the intersection of influence, operations, and events, serving both B2B SaaS companies and D2C consumer brands. That dual audience demanded a design language that could speak credibly to both worlds without diluting the brand's identity. Second, the site needed to communicate meaningful results quickly. With a growing portfolio of case studies, from 10M+ impressions for Footprint to +233% social growth for souk + SEPIA, the structure had to surface proof points without overwhelming visitors. Finally, Hanna's brand direction set a high visual bar. The build had to be pixel-faithful to her design intent while also being responsive, performant, and optimized for search, none of which could be compromised.

Solution & Deliverables

Working closely with Hanna throughout the project, I handled the full scope of web design and Framer development, from initial layout decisions to pre-launch QA.

Web Design

Designed the site's layout architecture and page structure in alignment with Hanna's brand direction, balancing visual weight, hierarchy, and flow to guide visitors toward conversion. Every section was designed to serve a function: establish credibility, communicate services clearly, and make the next step obvious.

Framer Development

Built the entire site in Framer, translating the visual design into a responsive, production-ready website. This covered:
Pixel-accurate implementation across all breakpoints, mobile, tablet, and desktop
Smooth, purposeful animations that enhanced the experience without adding friction
CMS integration for case studies and client work, enabling easy content management
SEO optimization including meta structure, page speed tuning and semantic markup

Collaboration

Maintained close communication with Hanna throughout the project, aligning on design decisions, working through feedback rounds efficiently, and keeping the build on track to meet delivery timelines.

Before & After

Before

Verbatim had an existing website, but it wasn't doing the job. The visual design felt off-brand, it didn't reflect the level of work Verbatim was delivering for clients like ActiveCampaign and Skillshare, and it failed to clearly communicate what the agency actually does. Visitors landing on the site couldn't quickly grasp the scope of their services or the results behind them. The site wasn't converting, and the brand had outgrown it. That disconnect between their real-world track record and their online presence is what made the rebrand and redesign necessary.

After

A fully redesigned and rebuilt Framer website that finally matches where Verbatim is as an agency. The new site leads with clear positioning, surfaces their $200M+ revenue track record upfront, and gives each service its own space to breathe and persuade. The visual direction — led by Hanna — gives Verbatim a brand identity that feels distinctive and ownable, and the web build translates that into a fast, responsive experience that works across every device.

Result

The final website is a polished, conversion-oriented platform that matches the caliber of Verbatim's work and client roster. It accurately reflects the brand direction Hanna established while translating it into a fast, responsive, and maintainable Framer site. The site communicates Verbatim's revenue-first positioning clearly, surfacing their $200M+ track record, influencer program credentials, and client proof points in a structure that moves visitors toward action. Delivered on time, fully responsive, and optimized for performance and search, a launch-ready web presence built to grow with the agency.
